How does pairing with my partner work?
Celah is built for two people. After you create your account, you form a "couple" with your partner using an invite code. One partner shares their code, the other enters it, and your accounts are linked into a shared couple space. From then on, the content you submit during a check-in is shared between the two of you.
Do we each need to pay?
No. One subscription covers both partners in a couple, and you are never charged per person. Once either partner subscribes, the app is unlocked for both of you.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription automatically. You can cancel any time during the trial in your Apple Account settings (see below) and you won't be charged.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through Apple, so they're managed in your iOS Settings rather than inside Celah:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Select Celah, where you can change or cancel your plan.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled according to Apple's policies.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from inside the app:
- Open Celah and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deleting your account removes your personal data. Content that was already shared with your partner during a check-in may remain in their copy of your couple's history, just as content they shared may remain in yours. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Manage that separately in your Apple Account settings as described above.
